Mashayeva Sevil Saleh gizi was born in 1977.

In 1995-1999 she graduated from the chemical faculty of Azerbaijan Industrial Institute with a bachelor's degree. In 1999-2001 she graduated from chemical faculty on specialty “Chemical technology of organic substances” of SumgaitStateUniversity with a master's degree.

In 2002 she entered the post-graduate school of the Institute of Polymer Materials.

In 2012 she defended her candidate thesis “Preparation of oligohydroxynaphthylenephenylamines” and received a degree of doctor of philosophy on chemistry.

Now she is acting head of the laboratory “Biomimetic polymer materials”.

She is an author of 44 scientific papers.

Since November 2013 she is a chairman of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.

She is married and she has 2 children.
