In accordance with the order of the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences dated to October 17, 2013, number 21/3 at the general meeting of National Academy of Sciences and the Council of Young Scientists of scientific institutions on December 27, 2013 was established the “Council of Young Scientists and Specialists” of ANAS. Council leads PhD. in physics, associate professor Famin Salmanov.
The main aim and objective of the activities of the “Council of Young Scientists and Specialists” of ANAS is increasing scientific potential, stimulation of various initiatives, ensuring the flow of science, organization of leisure time, application of innovations purchased in various media coverage of scientific thems, helping provision of information and etc. Also, the activities of Council includes the promotion of science in our country - Azerbaijan and the acceleration of its integration to the World science.
Council of Young Scientists and Specialists consists of the 42 institutes and organizations of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, operating in the councils of young scientists and experts (local), connects over than 3000 members.
Council guided by its charter the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the laws, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, orders and decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Azerbaijan National Academy Charter, the decision of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and orders of the President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and annual events operates according to its plan.
Activities of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists includes the promotion of science and social cohesion strategy, innovative projects, coordination, regional affairs, international cooperation, scientific, social events, scientific publications, organizations and local councils under Azerbaijan National Academy of Science's regular monitoring and public relations.
