ANAS Central Scientific Library by the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS held a meeting of young scientists of this structure with the state adviser of the Azerbaijan Republic on interethnic issues and issues of multiculturalism and religion, Academician Kamal Abdullayev on May 31.

Chairman of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS Institute of Folklore, PhD in Philology Nail Gurbanov expressed gratitude to Academician K.Abdullayev for evaluating their initiative and the time allotted for meeting with youth.

He informed about the artistic, scientific and socio-political activities of Kamal Abdullayev, researches of the scientist, dedicated to the epic "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" and theoretical issues of Azerbaijani linguistics. It was noted that, the state adviser of the Republic of Azerbaijan on interethnic issues and issues of multiculturalism and religion, academician Kamal Abdullayev is also a prominent writer recognized at the world level.

Translated into Russian, English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Japanese, Turkish, Georgian and other languages of the writer's work "Incomplete Manuscript", "Valley of the Wizards", "No One to Forget", "Secret Dede Gorgud" Readership all over the world. A few days ago the book of the scientist "Introduction to the poetics of Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" was published.

Having expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the youth, Academician Kamal Abdullayev informed about the main directions of his scientific and literary activity and works of art written in various genres.

The scientist spoke about the main contours of multiculturalism policy in Azerbaijan, the directions of the study of the Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism and the propaganda of this model as an approximate model in the world.
