Today, on occasion of May, 28 members of the Council of young scientists and researchers of Institute of Geography of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences organized the meeting for children deprived of family care, as well as generate interest of children in geography, science, in order to increase their knowledge in this field in "Agora" palace of Binagadi district.

Chairman of the Council of young scientists and researchers of Institute of Geography, PhD in geography Samira Alekperova after greeting the participants, showed slides for children on the theme of "Life skills: environmental protection" and informed about the way children can understand earth, environment, nature, environmental protection, global warming and so on.

Then the young scientists gave the school equipments - crayons, ruler and compass sets, pens, a world map (in 2 languages) and other distributed gifts to the children, posed for photos with them.
