Partnership at Kew Botanical Garden (MSBC), visited ANAS Institute of Botany.

Visit aimed to prolong the memorandum signed between the Institute and MSBC in 2012 as well as discuss the signing of a new memorandum.

The guest met with director of the Institute of Botany, corresponding member of ANAS Valida Alizadeh and got acquainted with the done works and results of project "Caucasian flora protection: collecting the seeds of the wild plant species in Azerbaijan” implemented in 2013-2015 with the goal to protect wild plant species of Azerbaijan. The opportunity to continue this project in 2016-2019, including business plans in the direction of implementing "Tree Seed Project" (2016-2019) due to protection of endangered species of valuable trees in Azerbaijan, were discussed in the meeting.
