ANAS in economy of Azerbaijan

Historically being rich with its natural resources Azerbaijan has set up increasing export potential in non-oil sector before state management as one of the strategic objectives in recent years. Purposeful activities such as development of industry, promotion of export-oriented goods and services, including development of entrepreneurship are underlined whether in "Azerbaijan 2020: vision to the future" Concept and in specific state programs.

"Black gold into human capital" commission for the implementation of science, research and education in the absence of human capital to strengthen the export of the competitive products to increase the production more difficult. Such factors set forth specific requirements, taking into account of the country's non-oil sector, the possible contributions to further improve the scale of activity instances. 

In order to realize the instruction of "Shifting black gold into human capital", to strengthen the human capital in the absence of science, research and education, and to increase competitiveness of the export production  is more difficult. Taking into account such factors and set forth specific requirements, ANAS has defined the scale of activity due to contribute to the further development of country's non-oil sector. Strengthening the relations of ANAS with the industry, implementing joint projects with business entities, including the organizing self production process based on research and experimental design and forming fund outside the budget ANAS will be able reduce the burden on the budget and increase the export potential of the country's non-oil sector.

Scientific ventures of ANAS directed to exact sciences and domestic scientist and specialists working in the experimental-design bureaus are capable of as scientific potential and material-technical base on physics, chemistry, geology, biology, cybernetics and ICT. The following work has been done to strengthen innovation: 

-Department of Innovation, Science and Technology Park was established, international relations were developed and ANAS Experiment-Industry Plant was provided with flexible opportunities due to realize all stages of innovation. Currently, new production areas have been allocated in the 20 hectares of territory of the plant, which produces 31 kinds of products, equipment and staff strengthened and created modern infrastructure. The products of the plant have already met with sympathy in the domestic and foreign markets;
