By joint organizational support of the Knowledge Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Central Scientific Library of the Academy held a meeting of young scientists and specialists with foreign students studying in Azerbaijan. The purpose of such a meeting, organized for the first time in the country, is to familiarize the visitors with the directions of research work of local youth and determination of cooperation vistas.

Opening the event head of the Foundation, Professor Isakhan Valiyev gave information about the activities of the Fund, mostly projects undertaken regularly in informing foreign students about Azerbaijani realities and achievements of science and education.

Then the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS PhD in physical and mathematical sciences, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov, informing about the activity of the Council led by him, in particular, its international relations, and said that thanks to these relationships our young colleagues are set up communication of scientific cooperation young researchers of foreign educational and research centers. It was noted that it would be very useful to continue the existing tradition of foreign nationals receiving education in Azerbaijan.

At the event, the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS Institute of Control Systems, PhD in engineering Samir Rustamov, member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Economics, PhD in economy Rufat Efendiyev, Chairman of the Council of Scientists and Specialists of the Central Botanical Garden Farid Seyfullayev gave presentations on the results of the research works. Presentations provided information on the activities of the youth policy, international relations of the academic institutions.
