Narimanov district Heydar Aliyev Center held the event on the occasion of February 2 - Youth Day on February 1.

At the event attended students of higher and secondary specialized schools, students, institutions, youth working in the enterprises and organizations, political parties, social organizations and NGOs.

First, participants of the event pay tribute to the founder of the state youth policy in Azerbaijan, national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at the monument of the genius person.

Head of the Yasamal District Department of Youth and Sports congratulated the participants on the occasion of the Youth Day, spoke about the youth policy carried out in the country.

He delivered a report on the work done in this field in Yasamal district. He noted that, events devoted to the Youth Day held by the Department are of great interest of the district youth.

Then, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, PhD in physics, associate professor Famin Salmanov, student of Baku State University Nigar Ibrahimova, Baku "ASAN service" # 3 center employee spoke about highly care and attention to the youth.

Then, to the group of young people who active in the political life of the region and in the country, as well as those are the winners of several competitions awarded with the honorary diplomas and memorable gifts by the Yasamal District Department of Youth and Sports.

Also Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, PhD in physics, associate professor Famin Salmanov was awarded with honorary diploma for achievements in science "February 2 - Youth Day".
